Drone roof cleaning

Regular roof cleaning is one of the most important elements of building maintenance and directly affects the durability of the roof covering. Over time, moss, lichen, soot, and atmospheric dust accumulate on the surface of roof tiles, metal sheets, or roofing felt. These contaminants retain moisture and accelerate the degradation of the material. Cleaning roofs with a drone allows biological growth to be effectively removed and restores proper operating conditions without the risk of mechanical damage. The technology uses low-pressure cleaning and specialized agents that remove microorganisms. This eliminates the causes of surface deterioration rather than only the visible dirt. Regular cleaning helps prevent roof tiles from cracking, protective coatings from peeling, and metal elements from corroding. In practice, this significantly extends the lifespan of the roof and reduces the risk of costly repairs in the future. During operation, the drone does not touch the roof covering, so it does not cause microcracks or displacement of roof tiles, which often occur when workers walk on the roof surface. The method allows even cleaning of the entire area, including difficult-to-access places such as roof ridges, roof valleys, and areas around chimneys. As a result, the roof is cleaned thoroughly and retains its protective properties for longer. Drone roof cleaning is particularly recommended for single-family houses, residential communities, and industrial facilities. The service is carried out quickly and without the installation of scaffolding, which reduces interference with the surroundings of the building. A clean roof not only improves the appearance of the property but also maintains its tightness and resistance to weather conditions for years. Regular maintenance allows the roof to be treated as a long-term investment — when properly cleaned, it can serve much longer without the need for premature renovation.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

Can a drone damage roof tiles or metal roofing?
No. Cleaning is performed contactlessly at low pressure, so it does not cause roof tiles to crack or scratch metal roofing. The drone does not load the roof surface and does not move roofing elements.
Do you need to walk on the roof during cleaning?
No. The entire service is performed from the air, and the operator controls the device from ground level.
Does the cleaning remove moss and lichen permanently?
Visible growth is removed and a preparation is applied to limit its quick return. Regular cleaning significantly slows down the roof becoming overgrown again.
Will high pressure cause leaks in the roof covering?
No. We do not use high pressure. The low-pressure method protects joints, tile locks, and metal flashings.
Will water flood the attic?
No. Water is applied evenly and with controlled force, so it does not get under the roof covering.
Can the roof be cleaned in winter or autumn?
The best results are achieved in positive temperatures, however the service can be performed during most of the season outside of frost periods.
Is the method suitable for every type of roofing?
Yes — for ceramic tiles, concrete tiles, and metal roof tiles. Parameters are adjusted to the material.
Will the roof remain watertight longer after cleaning?
Yes. Removing moss and moisture reduces material degradation and extends the lifespan of the roof covering.
